Take The Time To Do It Well

"By perseverance the snail reached the ark."   -Charles Spurgeon

We live in a fast-paced, want it now society.  With instant credit, fast food shacks and ready-made, microwaveable food, we have grown accustomed to instant gratification.  We can be accross the world in a matter of hours.  Although the forementioned things are good, but they have hindered us from the best.  As much as we hate to admit it, maybe our parents and grandparents were right.  Could it be that the old time virtues are what is best for us?  Could it be that "patience" and "from scratch" still create the best things?  It is those obsolete virtues and similar ones that built this great nation.  If you plan to do great things in your field, it will come by time tested virtues and not new fangled ideas.  It seems that for all our super-intelligence today, we are pretty dumb.  We'd be wise to heed the advice of those who came before us.  Stop riding the fence and decide where you stand.
