How will this New Year turn out for you? Will it be just like every other year where promises were made but not kept? Will it be the status quo or will you step up to the proverbial plate? It is up to you and God to determine how it will turn out. God will do His part, the question is, will you do yours? Do you remember getting older and looking back to your High School years and saying, "if I could go back, I do this or that or I would change such and such?" I thought so! Well, the same fate awaits you a decade or two from now if you don't take the new opportunity to change things in your life now. You can't change the past but you can change the present and the future. Wow, this is your opportunity at a clean slate. This is your chance to become a better parent, employee, spouse or friend, or it could be self-improvement that you are focusing on. What ever the change is ~ do it! New Adventure ~ go for it! Make your dreams become a reality. You can do it! Henry Ford said, "if you think you can't you can't; if you think you can you can." In other words, you are what you think. You either help or hinder yourself. Sadly enough, some of us will be doing a decade or two from now what we did in our 20's and 30's.......... looking back to our High School years saying, "I should have....." Stop it! Change that from "I should have" to "I did it." God has given us all life, but we choose how we live it. Remember, your past was once your present and this present will one day be your past.
