We love to dream about how much good we could have done had we never suffered affliction, or we consider those who have lived a life of ease as lucky, but if the truth be known, those people are rarely worth anything except in their own eyes. The most effective people in life are those who have battled in the trenches and made it back. It is they who know empathy; it is they who know true love, and it is they who'll help the needy willingly. Those who have never suffered affliction cannot comprehend what all the fuss is about. They cannot understand your pain. If you're suffering, understand that God is preparing you to help others. You have a choice, use that suffering for good or use it for bad (to brag & boast). I will remind you, the reason God the Father can empathize with us is because God the Son walked in earthly shoes and it is He who is our Advocate (Lawyer) with the Father. Let me ask you: Are you looking at your suffering in the wrong light? Use it for good.
