Your Money Will Make Wings and Fly

"if your outgo is greater than your income, it will be your outgo not your income that will be your downfall."  RMJ

Just like a bird without a cage flys away our money without a budget will make wings and fly.  I have a friend who has been getting raises consistenly; in fact, if the truth be known, he's making 40K over where he started, yet he's always strapped at the end of the month. It's not the lack of money but the lack of budget.  Had he just budgeted his money in the last 5 years, he'd be doing well.  I'm not criticizing the fellow because I could be his cousin when it comes to finances.  Truthfully, we've all been there or are there.  Listen, most Americans could make it monthly if we bought what we needed, limited what we wanted and saved for that proverbial rainy day.  Rainy days do come; I don't have to tell you that.  In fact, sometimes it's a Flood.  The key is to decide what's important:   living for the praise and adoration of those who could careless about you or living for those who truly matter.  Remember, a budget is only a tool to tell your money where to go instead of your money telling you where it'll go.   If you don't tell it where to go, it will go where it wants.
